Moon Township, PA (July 16, 2009) –The Board of Directors of Heritage Valley Health System recently added two new board members to their organization. They are: Jay R. Zdunek, D.O. and Mary Kirsch, C.P.A.

Jay R. Zdunek, D.O., is a primary care physician with offices in Midland, PA and Calcutta, OH. Dr. Zdunek is also the president of the medical staff at Heritage Valley Beaver, medical director of Medi Home Hospice and chairman of Tri-State Medical Group, a subsidiary of Heritage Valley Health System. He also serves as osteopathic program director for the Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency program.

Dr. Zdunek received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his Doctorate from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Zdunek also received an M.B.A. from George Washington University. He resides in Patterson Twp.

Mary Kirsch, C.P.A. is a senior financial manager for Simio LLC in Sewickley. Prior to that, she was chief financial officer for Systems Modeling Corporation, based in Sewickley, and a tax manager for Peat Marwick Mitchell and Company, based in Seattle, and Arthur Andersen in Hong Kong.

Mary graduated from Whitman College Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Sociology and received her M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Mary resides in Sewickley with her husband R. Craig Kirsch.
